Models break the beauty standards of the world fashion village

The concept of slim models, beautiful face was broken with the appearance of long legs that look different from the standards of the fashion village.



ASHLEY GRAHAM: In the fashion industry, oversized models seldom get favored by designers. They are also hard to be appeared on the professional catwalk, which is only for long legs slim. However, the beautiful Ashley Graham is an exception. She was born in 1987 in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Ashley joined the fashion world when she was discovered by a modeling company, I & I in 2000, at a shopping center in Omaha.


The names of the beauties began to be noticed when joining the lingerie campaign of Lane Bryant in 2010. The banned commercials on TV channels have forced Ashley to speak out against discrimination, as well as making the public more aware of the oversized model. After the incident, she was picked up by the media and became a fashion face for many major magazines such as Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Latina.


In 2015, she became the first extra-large model to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated. She shared her happiness: "I thought the fact that Sports Illustrated invited me to shoot was a risk. Melanie Gaydos: Right from birth, she has a genetic disorder called ectodermal dysplasia, which affects the structure of the skin, leading to normal growth of hair, teeth, eyes and nails. She has the opportunity to appear on the catwalk and fashion magazines such as iD, Gadore, Love ...
